Subject: Reminder of Resources Available During the Coronavirus Emergency
As of Thursday, March 25, New Mexico has recorded its first death due to
COVID-19, and the state has 112 persons who are positive for the
Coronavirus. Social distancing, frequent hand washing, and accurate
information remain our best tools in combating this virus. Please share the
following resources with anyone who may not have access to this crucial
information:
*The New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department is asking anyone who
is a senior or an adult with a disability who cannot access groceries to
please call 1-800-432-2080. Leave a message with name, telephone number, and
the city/town they reside in. They will be in contact with the person within
2 hours or sooner.
*The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) is currently staffing a
Coronavirus Health Information Hotline at 1-855-600-3453. For more
information, you can visit the DOH website at https://cv.nmhealth.org/
*For non-medical issues such as questions about the impact of school
closures and job issues a new Coronavirus Information Hotline has been set
up at 1-833-551-0518. For more information you can visit
