This is an OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION of invitation to applicants for a Business
Operations Specialist - Advanced (CFB #10113091) in our Albuquerque office.

Salary
$14.67 - $25.53 Hourly
$30,518 - $53,101 Annually
This position is a Pay Band 60
 
Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to guide blind entrepreneurs in the
operation of a profitable business; and procure and coordinate equipment
installation and repairs.
Why does the job exist?
Under the jurisdiction of the Federal Randolph Sheppard Act and the
companion state statute, the purpose of the position is to advise and train
blind licensed business owners in the operation of food service and vending
operations ranging from large cafeterias to small vending routes.
How does it get done?
The position will monitor compliance with State and Federal tax
requirements, food safety regulations and building permits;
Minimum Qualification
Associates Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or
Accounting and two (2) years of directly related job experience in the areas
of office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting,
auditing, cash management and/or contract management. Substitutions Apply.

These combinations of education and experience qualify you for the position:
1 High School Diploma or Equivalent       AND       4 years of experience
OR          High School Diploma or Equivalent                AND       4
years of experience
2 Associate's degree in the field(s) specified in the minimum qualification
AND       2 years of experience                     Associate's degree or
higher in any field AND       4 years of experience
3 Bachelor's degree or higher in the field(s) specified in the minimum
qualification             AND       0 years of experience
 
. Education and years of experience must be related to the purpose of the
position.
. If Minimum Qualification requires a specific number of "semester hours" in
a field (e.g. 6 semester hours in Accounting), applicants MUST have those
semester hours in order to meet the minimum qualifications. No substitutions
apply for semester hours.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in both office and field settings with exposure to
restaurant and vending machine equipment, food products, grease, dust,
cleaning chemicals, Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive
personal computer and telephone usage. Regularly works with individuals with
secondary disabilities some of whom exhibit challenging behaviors;
occasionally exposed to service animals. Walking, standing, reaching,
kneeling, stooping, and bending for extended periods of time may be
required. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Regular travel, usually ranging
between 1-3 overnights per month, is required.
Bargaining Unit Position
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
