Paul D here. I changed the subject line since the focus has changed.
The correct URL is https://www.bendshapemask.com/ Bendshape.com <http://Bendshape.com> is a sensor product.
Our agency originally purchased some of the Clear Mask brand and I agree with Tami that they smush the nose a bit, especially when you’re trying to get a tight fight, and will fog up. Tip: rub the plastic with some dish soap to create a film. Not always perfect but it helps.
Here are a few other see-through masks:

The mission of DeafBlind Services Minnesota is to advance the independence of children and adults with combined hearing and vision loss.
“The expectation of ‘independence’ in our society is wrong. We, by our very nature as human beings, are interdependent. What we should strive for is a good and fair balance of interdependence; at times needing more support, at times giving that support to others. No one is truly independent unless they are living under a rock in the desert.”

Tami again, I meant to add I really like the masks Rich mentioned from bendshape.com <http://bendshape.com> . Seems like they have a better, close fit. I just ordered some!

Good morning all,
I purchased a box of 24 masks for about $60 from theclearmask.com <http://theclearmask.com> .
I believe they are a Deaf owned company. Many Deaf folks like them, tho they do fog up a bit and also squish my nose a little, smile.

I am from Albuquerque New Mexico. Where are you getting the clear masks? address her contact info? Thank you so much.
New Mexico has one department of health and it’s really going smoothly here as far as distributing the vaccine. I get my second Covid shot from Pfizer and Friday. My husband who has a severe immune deficiency issue also has had the Moderna vaccine and get his second booster next week.
Take care

to all,
rich here.
today i was at city-county task force n disabilities we were sharing many issues.
it went very productive. we were concerned about vaccines and clear masks.
anyway, regarding to vaccines, yes, veryt complicated because many states have own dept. of health, but problem is many counties having own dept. of health, too. they don't always agree. dept. of health feels that medical people shoudl have vaccines firstbefore all of us plus police and fire who are involved with medical programs. many advocaties with disabilities feel that people who are 65 or older and people with high risks shoudl get the vaccines, but the are alerting everyone not to forget people with down syndrome might be an issue. the advocates said that for peopel with disaibltiies shoudl see own family doctors to work out because it is importnat for family doctors to know diagnosis. i raised an issue about interpreters. because public places like cvs, rite aid and walgren might not be able to have interpreters because of big hurryand long linecan be long line through outside. it could be too fast and to o hard.need interpreters being present to make sure deaf, hoh and db are following what are gong on. the advocates said i brought valuable point as the big reason because of state and county have different views. one said about seeing an article this morning (i saw news headline on my iphone) as it was about healthy people might not need to get vaccines.it means we wodl get vaccines earlier than healthy people. i suggest for you to check in your state and county link to find about vaccines for who can get. for example here fo rmy county:
www.alleghenycounty.us/alerts <https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.alleghenycounty.us_alerts&d=DwMFaQ&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=Yi9w0lcrLjJMzuMSjf4Mmw0B_lhyuxZc9u5fWFw4pOU&m=r2f92gUfaUy88g8i4j2CSsFwaS3h3-_AxlwkTZiSPhg&s=0YVCvfksNjc1GblnoPvaMuqi9cw4T6WL1AnUCZpOWh0&e=>
few advocates thanked me for passing posts about clear masks as they were happy that psdbc has listserv to share support about clear masks. cctf on disaiblities colleagues are workign to have county to have medical people, police, fire, and specialists to wear clear masksas the workers shoudl wear them for anytime as deaf, hoh and db would show up to seek for medical help or for domestic violation. one colleague said a pack of 24 masks for 67 dollars. my two interpreters came with clear masks like this as both showed me clear masks and i smiled at them and winked at them.
some professioanls and my colleagues want to say thank you to all ofyou on psdbc.
sincerely,
rich
