IS TECHNOLOGY LEAVING US BEHIND?

Technology surrounds us, but is it benefiting those of us who happen to be
blind? Even appliances such as the kitchen stove, washer and dryer now often
require special markings to allow use by a visually impaired person. Airport
check-in systems, iPhones, and numerous other high-tech systems often create
frustration for blind people.  Sharing both concerns and solutions to these
issues generally leads to   a useful process. The opportunity for such a
positive discussion will occur from 10 to 12 noon, during the June 15th,
2022, Creating Options Meeting.      The benefits from devices such as the
Echo, Victor Stream, color identifiers, and other aids will be discussed.
As many as ten people will be able to attend in person. Masks are required.
In order to attend you must e-mail Don Burns no later than noon on Tuesday,
June 14 All others will be able to connect with Zoom.
