Topic: Introducing her new book which is on blindness, she will announce the
name of the book.

 

5.	NFB Pledge: (Will be read by Gitana Curtis)

I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the National Federation
of the Blind: to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind.
To support the policies and programs of the Federation: and to abide by the
Constitution.

 

6.	NFB Belief Message: (Will be read by Marsha Deschilly)

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future . Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspiration of all blind people.

a.	Reminder that Registration deadline is September 26, 2025. After
that date it will go up in price to $130.00. 

12.	New Business

a. White Cane Day- What do we want to do to participate? Where? Discuss.  

b. Movie Night- Changing the link so it has it's own link. So on the
calendar it will show that there is a Movie Night hosted by our
Chapter.  Discuss.

              c. Changing our Bank to one that has Zelle features. Discuss.

              d.Exhibit Hall Table- $ 75.00, What shall we have at our
Table?

e.Meta Ray Ban Raffle tickets- Gitana Has 300 tickets, we need your help to
sell these for the State Convention.

f.Door Prizes for State Convention- Do we want to donate from our chapter?
