The *National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey (NFB of NJ) Seniors
Committee* is proud to present the *first Senior Summer Hybrid Connection*.
Join us for a day of learning, sharing, friendship, and practical
information designed especially for blind seniors, their families, friends,
and anyone interested in living well with blindness.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the *Degenshein family* and the *West
Orange Lions Club*, this event is *completely free* to attend. The only
cost to participants is their own transportation. Whether you join us in
person or virtually, we look forward to welcoming you for an engaging,
informative, and enjoyable day.

Learn about valuable library services and technology available to blind and
low vision New Jersey residents, including:

- NFB-NEWSLINE® and its many features
Presentation 2:
*Our Journey Through Blindness*
*Presented by Sandy Halverson (Virginia)*
An inspiring discussion about navigating vision loss, adapting to change,
and embracing the opportunities that blindness can provide.
Presentation 3:
*A Day in the Life: Tools, Tricks, and Resources for Living Your Best Life
with Blindness*
*Presented by Liz Wisecarver (Texas)*
Discover practical techniques, helpful technology, everyday strategies, and
community resources that can help you live independently and confidently
while living the life you want.
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Lunch and Fellowship
Enjoy lunch while continuing conversations with fellow participants.
Lunch will be provided and includes:
- Sandwiches

- Dessert
- Bottled water
