•     We are here to support your learning
•     Join us every third Wednesday of each month in-person and on Zoom from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Unpacking Lessons for Living

All are welcome to join us on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in-person in the Skills Center at the New Mexico commission for the Blind or on Zoom, as detailed below, to add to your knowledge bank about living as a person who is blind or has low vision with a guided exploration of Lessons For Living, available in both English and Spanish from the Older Individuals Who Are Blind Technical Assistance Center (OIB-TAC). Or on the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) service.

We will explore the available lessons and do a deep dive discussion into at least one the group selects. This will happen with the goal that you may take control of your learning with this resource as one of several tools we plan to help you discover.
We look forward to seeing you. Anyone at any stage of their journey with blindness or low vision, and their family are welcome.
