Tell Your Digital Inaccessibility Story
Advocacy in Action
The National Federation of the Blind of New Mexico (NFBNM), in partnership
with its West Mesa Chapter’s Public Relations and Civic Engagement
committee and the Albuquerque chapter’s Legislative Committee , is
launching an initiative to gather first-hand accounts of digital
inaccessibility. Our goal is to support members in documenting experiences
with inaccessible state and local government websites and mobile
applications to be submitted to the National Federation of the Blind (NFB)
in accordance with the April 29, 2026 Presidential Release. These stories
are essential to ensuring that the recently finalized ADA Title II
regulations are effectively implemented and maintained.
Upcoming Support Meeting
We invite all affiliate members to join a specialized Zoom session to help
craft and submit these vital stories.
