Hello all!
I hope this email finds you well. 2025 is starting off in an unprecedented
way. Fires in California, snowstorms in New Orleans, Constitutional
challenges, and the list goes on. Our power and effectiveness still remain
in community and the skills/mindset to advocate for ourselves and others.
This is why I participate in the NFB of Delaware, and I hope it is part of
the reason you participate as well. It is time for our January chapter
meeting. It will be held on Monday, January 27th at 6:30 pm via Zoom. The
minutes are attached and will be read at 6 pm. Please join us and share
your voice and talents to help all to live the lives they want. The agenda
is below, and the Zoom link is below the agenda.
Sincerely. Carol King-Ries
President, NFB Northern Delaware Chapter
Live the life you want with love, hope, and determination!

I pledge to participate actively in the effort of the National Federation of
the Blind to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind, to
support the policies and programs of the federation, and to abide by its
constitution.
NFB one-minute message:
The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want.
Blindness is not what holds you back.
