Federationists,
We are planning the 2011 NFB Youth Slam curriculum and we could use your
wisdom. If you are unfamiliar with the NFB Youth Slam you can visit
www.blindscience.org <http://www.blindscience.org/> to learn more about
the program and the NFB's STEM education initiative. Students coming to
the program will spend a week studying one of ten STEM disciplines. In
the past each track/discipline has worked independently on a project or
problem. This year we would like to get all ten tracks working together
to solve one big problem. Do you know of a complex problem that requires
the use of ten STEM disciplines to solve? If so, pass on the problem!
Thank you in advance for your help! If you have questions or other
suggestions regarding the 2011 NFB Youth Slam pass those on too! If you
are interested in up-to-date information about the program you can
follow @NFBYouthSlam on twitter www.twitter.com/NFBYouthSlam.
Warmest Regards,
Natalie Shaheen
