This is the original message which I have sent to the Blindmath
listserv, after which I found that there was a science listserv
as well.

Subject: accommodations with physics courses in college

Dear listserv members,

I am Daniel Gillen, a soon-to-declare physics major at Haverford
College in Pennsylvania. I have finished my first year, having
taken the first two semesters of physics. There were a multitude
of accessibility nightmares from heavy use of diagrams to the
online Mastering Physics platform whose graphical user interface
did not me independently type in answers to problems with JAWS.
Anyway, I know this listserv is for math-related materials. But
since physics is about 90% math (nearly 100% as accessibility is
concerned), I would like to have some idea of how best to obtain
accommodations for higher-level physics courses. Is there a
listserv at NFB that deals with the sciences? I know I was able
to get accommodations for last year's courses, but the system was
one that depended largely on the availability of assistants whose
themselves were students with schedules. What I'm only trying to
do now is make sure that all my accommodations for my Waves and
Optics course are ready to use in the fall, so why not reach out
to those at Blindmath while also contacting my other resources?

Thank you,
Daniel
