Hi,
My personal thought would be to talk with the professor of the course and
see what is all involved and then make your decision based on what you think
about their description. Typically, ODS staff have wonderful resources and
ideas but they do not always know what the class is really like. Astronomy
sounds really visual, but remember that much of it is physics which can be
done with tactile images.... and even potentially braille. Thus, asking the
professor what is involved and what types of visual information will be
presented is probably going to serve you best in making a good decision.
Just my own personal thoughts here.
Happy new year everyone,
Chris

Hi guys, I am going to be taking a descriptive astronomy course this
semester, and the OSD person at my school suggested that I should have a
person in the class with me to describe to be most of the visual stuff that
will be displayed during the course. Do you think this is a good idea or
not? I personally don't think that it is.
