[Nfb-science] MS office/Libre office accessibility to the VoiceOver in Apple iOS

I'm in the market for a new laptop. Have a couple of questions relating to use of office software suites on a MacBook with voiceover.

1. Is Microsoft office for iOS and Libre office(Open source software) accessible to the built in apple voiceover? These weren't accessible to the built-in VoiceOver a few years ago when I last tried it. Curious if situation has improved/changed.
2. Would Google office type products be a viable alternative for use on a MacBook?
