Hi Kendra,

I second the advice to take math classes back to back if possible. They are
very much sequential, and gaps tend to let things from previous classes
fade. Since those topics are crucial to later classes, you can see how
that's definitely not a good thing.

What math classes are required for your degree? As far as I'm aware you
should only need Calculus 1. Obviously you'll have to work your way up to
there from wherever your placement exam put you, but 10 classes seems
excessive. I only mention this because if you are not a math lover and are
scared of burning out on it (I totally feel you on that) then you'll want
to make sure to only take the ones you need and nothing more. I am
currently in Calculus 1B and it is quite intensive.
