Thanks for the update, Robert! I'm glad that it worked for you. Saving the
model as an STL is actually really simple. For those who aren't familiar,
an STL file is the most popular file type for 3D objects.
When you're working in OpenSCAD, you write the code for all the dimensions
of your object. When you're satisfied with your code, you can press F5 to
generate a Preview of your model. From there, you can press F6 to Render
your model, basically finalizing things. Then you can press F7 to Export
the model as an STL. I just realized that you can even press F8 to "3D
print" your model, but the only options I see in my version are to send the
model to a printing service or to send the model to a printer through
Octoprint, which is a popular slicing program.
