I'm not sure these issues are the fault of the Orbit Writer. I found that any time I use
a bluetooth input device with my iOS devices, I get lost characters, latency issues and a
general loss of usability. It may be exacerbated by VoiceOver, since I don't see complaints
like this from folks who use external keyboards without VoiceOver runing. VoiceOver is a huge
CPU time suck, not to mention a battery hog, which is why newer iOS devices don't feel much
faster than the old devices did. In general, however, if you're wanting to use the Orbit
Writer with iOS, I agree with Emily; I don't think it's a great solution. If, however, you
want to use it with some other bluetooth environment, it will probably work fine.
