[Nfb-seniors] auction at convention

I hope you are all planning to be at convention again this year!

We will be having our auction at the meeting on Tuesday afternoon.  We 
appreciate  donations.  All of you who can let me know ahead of time what 
you are bringing, please do so.  It helps us plan.

As the agenda will say, registration begins at 1:00 pm, and the meeting 
begins at 2:00.  We would like to be set up as soon after 1:00 as possible 
to give those interested in buying a chance to examine the merchandise. 
Therefore, please bring your items to the meeting room at 1:00.  I will be 
contacting a few of you to help display the items and take bids.  This works 
bbest of you can read Braille and write it with the slate and stylus.  The 
tables are generally crowded, so those writing down bids need to do it in 
very little space.  If I know ahead of time what is coming, I can have some 
of the cards already made up.  Donors and Division officers love to see the 
auction items sell for as much as possible, so we want to give all the items 
good exposure.
