NFB Krafters Division has all types of Loom classes and we do have basic
loom classes too.

We have a class beginning Thursday Oct 17 &30 that our teacher will be
teaching using the Knifty Knitter loom your choice of size ranging from the 12
peg flower loom up to the large 41 peg round loom or any loom in between.
You will have a chance to create your own pumpkin patch using th the
looms. There will be suggestions on making them into Jack O Lanterns, by
adding faces to them. I love to let my Granddaughters cut out the faces and
glue them on Grandma's pumpkins.

Check out our web site
_www.KraftersKorner.org_ (http://www.KraftersKorner.org)
and find out what is going on at another division of the National
Federation of the blind.

We are using some looms called the nifty knitters. One of our members is
going to teach them how to make crafts for grandchildren.

I also sent this to one of our crafters and she suggested fast-drying clay.
I shared your misgivings.

I think this would be a great source if the particular woman I was talking
about wasn't 91 and arthritic. She is not able to do fine work. She used
to
enjoy knitting, crochet and ceramics.
