Ruth

If someone wishes to listen to the recording, there are three options:

#1 visit our Division’s website and go to the page for listening to recordings of our conference calls. Then it is a matter of choosing which recording to listen to. all the person does is click on the link of the recording they want to listen to, and after a few seconds (maybe 10 up to 20 seconds) it will start playing, right there on their computer. This of course, presupposes the computer has speakers and the volume is up.

Our division’s website is at:

http://senior.nfb.org

#2 If the person wants to download the MP3 file from our website, and transfer it to another device, you would: Place the cursor on the link to the recording that you want to capture, press the applications key (the key immediately to the left of the right control key), which then brings up a menu of options, arrow down to “Save Target. And press enter. then you must choose where it is you want the computer to save the file. (this option takes a person with some computer savvy.)

#3 To listen to it by phone- no computer is involved in this option:

Dial: (712) 432-1202

Then when asked, dial this access code: 759633Pound

Then, the system will give you two options, take the second one, which is to press the Pound Key, to listen to the most recent recording.

(the first option would allow a person to choose one recording, out of an entire list, if you know the correct identification code.)
