Hey Valarie,,,,,Can you get Splenda (sugar sub) in Canada? If you can
get it, I have some wonderful recipes. Let me know and I will be glad
to post them here.  My companion and I are both diabetics. He is Type
2. The worse thing that has happened to me so far is the loss of my
sight. He already has stage 3 kidney failure.. His doctor told him
that it will not get any better, but at least she got it to stop
getting worse.  He loves chocolate chip cookies and when I found out
about Splenda, I tried a recipe. The cookies turned out great. I used
semi- sweet chips and his doctor said that was good. I make Pumpkin
Mousse, Banana Bread, Peanut Butter Cookies, Strawberry Cobbler and
other luscious desserts that we can have. We drink Crystal Lite and
stay away from sodas.
As far as Braille goes,,,,well, I learned the Braille alphabet, but I
am trying really hard to learn how to read Braille. I am at a total
loss when it comes to contracted Braille--
