[Nfb-seniors] A question

Hi all,

 

I am Cindy Ray from Des Moines. The question I will be asking may eventually
and in the not-so-distant future be relevant to me, too, and I am asking it
on behalf of Susie Stanzel in Leawood, Kansas. Susie had hip replacement
last week and is doing rehab time right now. She is discovering a struggle
with putting on pants. She was working with a reacher and dealing with it by
means of color. I don't know a reacher myself, so I may not be making this
question clear, but she told them she needs to know how to use it without
vision. What kind of blindness techniques have some of you used to
successfully navigate the keeping the leg straight to put on underwear and
pants. She has a six week restriction of no more than 90 degrees bend.
