Thanks for clarifying my thoughts.  I thought I'd rrecalled a "national
call," I had been on about three years ago, but now, I'm almost sure it was
with the Colorado Senior Division.

Sorry about my confusion, and all these calls and your ideas sound great.
So glad we have seniors that love to network.

Depends upon what you have in mind as to what a "national call for seniors"
is? Meaning - in the early months of the past 5 years, the NFB Seniors
division has had a national call, wherein we have arranged for a special
guest to address a specific question of blindness and life. In fact, we
have, on our division's website, a page that has links to recordings of most
all of our national conferences. (Note: there is a link at the bottom of all
messages that come from our listserv; like this one you are reading.)

Second, on our July calendar, on the 16th, is a 2 hour call, which is our
annual NFB Seniors Division's business meeting; there will be an agenda
coming out in the next couple of days. There will be a couple of special
guests, who will be presenting topics related to blind seniors. And of
course, there will be some business that will be conducted; but this part
will be the lesser than the informational section. Yup, this year is
special, on the crummy side, we cannot meet in person... but we sure can get
together by phone; from the comfort of our homes! 

Another thing about a national call... if someone poses a real good reason
to have one, a great topic, and helps make it happen, then I bet we can have
more national calls.

Yet another thought on a national seniors call - all of the various
regularly scheduled state division or groups who hold a monthly call (about
half of our divisions have a monthly call), and anyone can call in.
