In terms of FIRST TIMERS, this is my first Zoom Convention. Though, I've had a couple of dozen of the in-person type. Yup, a face-to-face version is sooo much more exciting and satisfying! Though both of these experiences are super worth it.
I'm happy all of you FIRST TIMERS had made the choice to join in. Like Judy mentioned, the event of all these caring, truth seeking, and sharing blind people sure can create an effect that is addictive!
And hey, think about becoming a part of one or more of the affiliate level senior divisions. Most of them meet monthly; not saying that you shouldn't also join the national level Seniors Division! Below I'll paste in a copy of the July calendar for our NFB Seniors divisions and Groups. Take a look at who they are. You'll find when their meetings normally occur, the numbers and times you need to call in, and more. (Several of them canceled this month's meeting, but... we all will be again meeting in August and on. Note: this calendar will always show on our national NFB Seniors Division's website; a link on the home page, or by request it can come directly into your inbox.
