[NFB-Seniors] Today's Call

Membership in both groups are find, but you cannot hold office in the NFB if you do that.

We work very well with the ACB here in Washington, and it's too bad that President Riccobono didn't get a response for having a joint convention.

We had a couple of local people attend the NFB convention last year, and they were blown away, in the positive sense.

Apparently at the ACB conventions, people are offered sighted guides to take them around to the different venues, and our ICCB people loved seeing blind people figuring it out on their own, and they, too, felt our convention's energy.

I think 6 scholarships were given; two Boloton awards.  I actually lost
track. A giggly conversation with my friend Norma Crosby.

Well at least we showed "the other side" our transparency.  I am afraid
only of membership in both groups.  I would hope we could keep a known ACB
from holding office.
