TOPIC: Join us for a "Wes Talk!" Come learn about what is new and out there
for accessible content in the various mass media resources that we all go to
for information and/or entertainment: television, movies, streaming services
like Netflix, Amazon, and more. We will look into what is happening within
the world of smart devices: phones, televisions, speakers (Alexa), and more!
Our special guest presenting is Wes Majerus, a fellow Nebraskan. Wes has a
lifetime interest in tech, and professionally has worked for: the NFB
technology unit, the Nebraska Commission for the Blind, the Iowa Services
for the Blind, and more. He has a wealth of knowledge on this subject and is
an excellent teacher.
