Hi Milt. It's great to hear from you and I am really really sorry you missed the call. I am Aloma Bouma and I am vice president of the Maryland senior issues division for the NFB of Maryland. would you mind letting me know what chapter and affiliate you are with? our calls are quarterly and I believe the next one will be November 5. In between those National calls, we work on preparing topics we think will be of interest and helpful to seniors losing vision across the country. we have done traveling and vacationing, getting to conventions, organizing your kitchen, participating in fitness and sports, staying active in your community, and overcoming stigmas about using a white cane and the adjustment to giving up driving. our two most recent calls have covered participating in games and sports as well as the one I'm sorry you missed, about attending concerts, baseball games, participating in art, crafts, how to enjoy museums, movies and live theater productions, and other kinds of community events. if you have something specific you would like for us to consider in November, just let us know. Unfortunately we have not been recording these calls, but I can certainly talk with our board about whether or not that would be possible for us. You can stay in touch and we post all of our information about saving the date and such on the Seniors list serves, like the one you were using, and we look forward to having you with us whenever you can. thank you so much and take care, Aloma Sent from my iPhone

I planned to be on this call, but that didn't work out. Is there any recording? If not, I understand. Hopefully someday to go to another National convention.
