[nfb-talk] phony fundraiser

The only telemarketer associated with the NFB of NH sells tickets to a 
children's variety show we sponsor. Last week the parent of a student member 
of the NFB of NH got a telephone solicitation, supposedly on behalf of the 
NFB. When the mother mentioned she had a blind son the telemarketer 
immediately hung up. This was, obviously, a phony.

If you get such a call please pretend you are not suspicious, and say you 
are considering making a donation. Ask where the check should be sent.
