Ray,
I have means to identify a bill handed to me, and yet I still fold my
money. It’s just easier that way, because then when I need to
identify the bill later on, I can do it by the shape rather than by
attempting to re-identify it. Even if the money came in different
but similar sizes, folding would remain necessary.
Indeed, I fold my money for tactile identification even though under
most conditions, I can identify the bills visually. By doing so, I
ensure that there will be no mistake.

Seems to me that, with the sorry fact that nowadays, people seem to be less trust worthy, maybe we do need another solution than just to learn to fold money in different ways. Then again, there's cost no matter what solution you or I or anybody else could come up with. The Ibill, at only $99.00 seems quite reasonably priced to me. Maybe next year I'll break down and buy one of my very own.
