makes sense to me, i do not understand what the big deal is, instead of
being happy for folks who have the opportunity to gain vision it seems
sometimes folks are angry about it acting like it is a slam to blind folks,
it isn't, it is a choice that some people get to make and some of the rest
of us don't get to make, i am thrilled to hear someone is able to have
surgery or have a procedure that helps to retain or gain vision. excited for
them and that doesn't make me any less of a person because i am visually
impaired. seems foolish to argue about whether it is good or bad to be
blind, makes no difference. i do not think that my visual defines me as a
person. there is a lot more to me than my blindness and i hope it isn't the
most signifact thing abot me that people notice.
