I see that you have unsubscribed. You can do what you want, of
course, however there is a reason that each list has its purpose and
allowable topics. Compared to a lot of lists, our enforcement is
pretty forgiving. On a busy list, without some guidance, a list can
degrade to chaos.
We separated our jobs list into two lists, listings and
discussions. Some people just want the listings. There are over 700
people on that list, so that is a lot of people to inconvenience with
discussions they have no interest in.
All of our lists have an overlay of blindness and the NNFB. There are
lots of other lists around where you can talk about almost anything.
We provide a minimum amount of structure, so people don't waste their time.
