Save the date for July 27 between 11:00 and 1:00 PM for the NFB Salt Lake
chapter meeting.

 

Note: There is an attachment at the bottom  of this email which has instructions for walking from the TRAX station to the Happy Camper Deli and Bakery.

This month we will be meeting at Happy Camping Deli and Bakery outdoor
pavilion in Gardner Village which is at 1100 West  7800 South, West Jordan. The pavilion is near the east side parking lot.   Here is a link to

You may want to use a para-transit bus, an Uber, or personal ride if you have never been there before. This may also be a good time to use the Apple Phone apps like Be My Eyes or AIRA Explorer to help guide you.

 There is a Trax Redline stop at Historic Gardiner Village but it is a tricky 10 -minute walk to get there and you have to cross 7800th South.  I will walk the route and send along instructions and give you a person to call if you can’t find your way.  Then   we will have someone who will find you and guide  you to the meeting.

Several members will give a  recap of the national convention.

We will review upcoming events

Play games that everyone can enjoy.

We will be using the pavilion next to the Happy Camper eatery where there are picnic tables. The eatery tells us they will not charge us for the pavilion if some of us will buy lunch so we invite you to consider purchasing your lunch.  You will need  to purchase items yourself.
