[NFB-Utah] Zion trip Saturday with Red Rocks!

Hello Federationists! 

 

This is coming up fast! April 26 is our trip to Zion National Park using the new Zion route! Feel free to bring friends and family!

 

Here are the details to prep before we go and details to know about the day:

 

Before the trip:

Make sure you have $5 for the bus each way (so $10 total)

Proof of visual impairment  - this can be from vocational rehabilitation,  an SSDi letter,  etc.  If you need help,  let me or Jessie know and we can find you more options. 

 

 

The day of the trip:

We will all get on the bus at different stops.  Pick the location closest/ with easiest access to where you live:

Dixie Convention Center 10:00

 

Barnes & Noble at Red Cliffs Mall 10:09

 

Buena Vista (Boiler Park), Washington  10:18

 

5300 W Regional Park Rd, Hurricane (DMV)  10:30

 

3400 W Hurricane (Walmart)  10:38

 

700 W State St, Hurricane 10:46

 

Arrival at Zion: 11:24

 

While there:

Food - menu forthcoming!

Get a lifetime Access Pass ( with proof of permanent disability)

Tour of Zion National Park with Darcy, a park ranger who will show us around!

 

Coming back:

We are aiming to catch the shuttle that departs at 3:40. That bus reaches the Dixie Convention Center (the last stop) at 5:04.
