What is a Glide “Demo Day?”  


At  <http://www.glidance.io/> Glidance, we’ve always deeply valued our connections with the Glider community—whether through emails, online surveys, Zoom calls, or one-on-one meetings. But what truly excites us is the opportunity to connect in person. 

Through various conferences like CSUN, we know that Glide is a product that’s best experienced hands-on. When people get the chance to hold it, walk with it, and feel how it operates, they can truly understand its impact.

Glide Demo Days have become a vital part of this experience. By partnering with organizations like Helen Keller Services in Brooklyn, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind in Toronto, and Guide Dogs UK in Manchester, we've made it possible for our community to engage directly with Glide. These demo days aren’t just about showcasing the product—they’re about gathering real feedback from the people who matter most. Our Gliders share what they love, what could be improved, and how Glide fits into their lives.

More importantly, Demo Days have grown into something much bigger: they bring together the entire support ecosystem for the blind community. Whether it’s the organizations offering resources and technology, the orientation and mobility specialists providing training, or even the guide dog trainers—we're all connecting to ensure Glide integrates seamlessly into the lives of those who need it most.
