Hello Salt Lake Chapter Family and Friends,

We hope you'll join us for our upcoming Salt Lake Chapter meeting, which will be hybrid; meaning it will take place in person and via Zoom. We will listen to the monthly Presidential Release, sharing updates within the Federation. Whether you're a longtime Federationist or new to the conversation, your perspective matters. With that said, we will be having a couple of discussions including sharing our stories and experience. Find out more below!

Convention & Travel Pack Hacks:
Convention season is here! Do you have a favorite travel tip, packing strategy, accessibility hack, or convention must-have item? Bring your best "pack hack" to share with the group. We hope to collect ideas that make travel and convention experiences easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable for everyone.

Sharing Our Stories & Raising Awareness
Inspired by recent remarks from President Mark Riccobono, we'll also discuss ways we can share our stories locally to increase awareness about blindness and accessibility. From everyday interactions to larger conversations about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), our experiences have the power to educate, inspire, and create change. We invite members to share personal stories, advocacy successes, or challenges that highlight why our work remains important today.

Together, we'll learn from one another, strengthen our chapter, and continue building a community that believes blindness is not what holds us back.
