There are meta tags to put in the header and an entire industry called
SEO for Search Engine Optimization
For Google, see this page for tips
http://www.google.com/webmasters/

You can submit an index of the pages on your site and Google will visit
them periodically.

Subject: [Nfb-web] Question: How to Get a page noticed

Hello:

I understand that it is possible by putting code on a web page that
the page can be more easily found by search engines like Google. How is
this done? Is there a good way to promote a site? Thank you.

Regards,

Robert Jaquiss
