[Nfb-web] JAWS on a Remote Desktop

Good evening again everyone,

To change the subject I'd be curious to hear anyone's experiences
running JFW on a remote desktop particularly a virtual private server or a
dedicated server. I'll be purchasing the JAWS for Windows Remote Desktop
Module for use on my VPS running Windows Server 2008.

For now much of what I need to do on the VPS can be done directly
through applications running on the server and via clients such as File
Zilla, etc. However if one wishes to install software such as a streaming
server or a list manager one must have access to the VPS remote desktop.
Here is where JFW comes in.

Right now I have Microsoft Narrator running. Its functionality does not
approach that of the screen reading packages we use hence the need for JFW.
I'd like to know what your experiences were with respect to installing and
running JFW and other screen readers in a remote desktop environment such as
a virtual or dedicated server and want to hear about any benefits or
pitfalls. Your feedback on this will be very much appreciated.

"Will you come and awake our lost land from its slumber
And her fetters we'll break, links that long are encumbered.
And the air will resound with hosannas to greet you
On the shore will be found gallant Irishmen to greet you."
Will You Come to the Bower
