The only other thing that I'd add is that you will likely want to disable the Overlay module, if it isn't already.  Likely it was not enabled if you did an upgrade from 6 to 7.

When enabled the Overlay module opens admin and content editing pages in a modal dialog above the page from which they are accessed.  This causes some problems for screen-reader users that we tried * very hard * to correct.  We were not very successful.  Overlay can be disabled on the entire site by disabling the module, or for individual users on their profile settings page.
