I just recently seen the storage getting doubled. They just doubled the 
ram, and decided to upgrade the processors a couple months back (8 cores 
instead of 4). this is really nice because you can balance nginx and 
other programs out across all 8 cores, which lets it scale nicer. The 
bandwidth also went up from 200 gb to 2 tb for the basic Linode.
