[Nfb-web] Captcha Question

Greetings:

The visual and audio CAPTCHAs in use are not accessible to the blind. I
suggest a different way to secure your site. Creative minds can come up
with a solution, and there was one implemented that involved something to do
with texting to a cell phone, but even that is a problem for those blind
people who do not have accessible cell phones.

I am sorry not to have a ready made solution for you, but I strongly urge
avoiding the CAPTCHA altogether.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Subject: [Nfb-web] Captcha Question

Good morning,

Can someone please point me in the right direction to find captcha that is
accessible to blind users? My office needs to make our online member
registration forms more secure, but we need to maintain accessibility and
our IT guys need some specific direction.

Thanks in advance!
