Hello all!

I’m fairly new to the world of web site development.  I am working on a web site to promote my book, eventually offer it as an eBook directly from the site and one day to offer additional downloadable products.  It’s a huge undertaking for me, but I want to figure it out, no matter how long it takes.

I have hosting and installed wordpress.org.  I’ve used wordpress.com before.  I can do things like create pages, blog posts and the like.  What I’m trying to do right now is to add a newsletter subscription form to the site and to be able to configure the corresponding newsletter program so I can independently send email newsletters to my subscribers.  I know about the features where people can sign up for new blog posts by email and that is not what I want to do.  I want to be able to send original content, not on the site, to subscribers.

I’ve tried MailChimp, but I am unable to edit their templates .  Is this an issue of I don’t know what I’m doing, a JAWS issue or a compatibility with my current software versions?  I have JAWS  12 and I’m using internet explorer  11.  I have Windows 7.  I know this isn’t the latest and greatest, but it is what I have.

Any pointers in the right direction would be most appreciated.  If I’ve neglected to include important information please let me know.  Or if there’s a better list to post this to, I can do that too.  I really appreciate any help!
