[Nfb-web] Improving keyword traffic with WordPress

I don't know much about SEO, but one of the things I have read is that one thing that matters is the number of people who link to you.  So you might want to work on that, getting other sites to list you etc.

For some reason, I am having difficulty getting my site, www.mackeyenterprisesllc.com <http://www.mackeyenterprisesllc.com> , to come up on the first page of results on Google. I have a lot of keywords, but not all of them are not showing my page on the first page of results. I am currently using the SEO Framework plugin for my WordPress SEO. I am using WordPress version 4.6. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to improve this? Please let me know when you get a moment. I will greatly appreciate it.
