Has anyone migrated to Microsoft’s non profit offering for email?

It used to be that you could upload a file to your root system to verify domain ownership; however, they appear to have changed the process. Now they give you either a CNAME or TXT record. I’ve harassed Dave offlist, poor guy, but if anyone else has any thoughts, I’m all ears. I’ll reach out to John if needed. I hate bugging anyone at all, but there are limits to what we can access as users.

There should be an option to upload a special file to the route of your public domain folder to verify the domain. Otherwise, John Berggren, International, Office can probably get the records added to the domain on the goDsddy site.

Our Virginia site is hosted on NFBNet; however, I’m trying to migrate our email to Google as part of their Nonprofit Google Workspace program.
 
I’m stuck at the domain verification step. I’ve added Google’s CNAME record to our Zone Editor in Cpanel. Yet Google keeps telling me they can’t verify the domain. I attempted to add a TXT record instead, but I’m unable to add this. It doesn’t let me make that an option in our Cpanel.
 
I think I’ve read other affiliates successfully migrate. Can you pass along any tips for getting past this first step?
