My voting experience- I voted during the early voting period on Wednesday, June 3rd. I never received the absentee ballot which I applied for approximately 2 months prior.
I did not have the latest model of the keypad designed for the visually impaired but was given the color-coded one for illiterate users. After listening to the instructions and familiarizing myself with the keypad I found it very simple and easy to use. I had fantastic assistance from the staff so far as getting things set up; they only got the special booth set up when I requested it.
My voting experience was a success, finally.

Hi Everyone,

I hope that all of you are staying safe and well.

Tomorrow, June 9, 2020 is the day that has been assigned for voting in the Georgia Primaries. I am requesting your feedback on your voting experience whether you did early voting, voted by absentee ballot, or by physically going to the polls tomorrow. Please think about the processs from the beginning to the end. Below are some of the questions to consider when giving your feedback:

If you physically went to the polls:
What challenges if any, did you encounter with the new voting machine?
Was the poll worker/manager knowledgeable about how to solve any issues you may have had with the operation?
Were you able to read the printed ballot using accessible software on your device?
Was the poll worker knowledgeable that we could use the accessible software on our device to read the printed ballot?
Did you receive assistance in casting your printed ballot?

If you mailed in an absentee ballot:
What challenges if any, did you have in receiving the application for the absentee ballot?
What challenges if any, did you have in filling out the absentee ballot?
What challenges if any, did you have in maling the absentee ballot?

Even if you have had a good experience during the process, we would still like to hear from you. Once this information is gathered, additional steps will be taken to make sure that any issues and challenges encountered will be addressed before the elections in November, 2020.

Please send me your feedback by mailing me directly at mrobinson at nfbga.org <mailto:mrobinson at nfbga.org> by 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2020. My email is the preferred and quickest method of response. However, if you hit “Reply” through this email, make sure that the Subject line says “Voting Experience Feedback”.

PLEASE NOTE: Your personal information will not be disclosed or shared. This data is for informational purposes only. If I need more information from you, I will contact you privately.

Thank you all for your cooperation. Continue to stay safe and in good health.
