Fellow Federationists and Friends of the NFB of Utah!

Our Annual  state convention is only 1 month away! We are so looking
forward to being together again, both in person and virtually! If you want
to stay at the hotel, you will need to make your reservations as soon as
possible. Our room block will close on May 15 and it will be difficult to
reserve a room after that date. All of the info for making a reservation,
along with some agenda highlights are listed below. Please contact me if
you have any problems reserving your hotel room.

We are pleased to announce our 2021 Annual State Convention!

Our convention will be held June 3-5, 2021 and this year’s convention will
be a hybrid format!

We will meet in person at the SLC Sheraton Hotel located at:
150 West  500 South

in downtown Salt Lake City!

We will also be holding all general sessions, breakout meetings, and our
banquet virtually for those who are not able to attend in person.

Virtual participation will be through the Zoom platform and more
information will be available as the event draws near.

In-person meals will be a free welcoming dinner on Thursday, June 3rd. This
welcoming dinner will be sponsored by Global Text 2 Vote. On Friday and
Saturday, boxed lunches will be available for only$10 each lunch. We will
also have a wonderful banquet on Saturday evening and the cost will only be
$15. . Everyone attending in-person will be required to follow all masking
and social distancing guidelines.

*         Norma is a member of the National Board of Directors and is
President of NFB of Texas.

both blind!

many ways blind people can access Comcast products, including audio
description!

*         Demonstration of NEW braille displays and video magnifiers!
