*Greetings NFBA East Valley Chapter Members and Friends,*

Today I want to take a moment to express my deepest thanks and the profound
gratitude I feel toward all of you as I reflect on my journey with the
National Federation of the Blind.

It is your strength, your dedication, and your unwavering belief in the
mission of the Federation that have kept me strong and committed. I am
truly grateful to all the mentors who have given countless hours to help
shape my understanding, my leadership, and my commitment to the NFB. Your
guidance has meant more than I can express.

It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve as your
President—to do your bidding, to help steer this ship, and to work
alongside you in our shared pursuit of equality, opportunity, and
empowerment. Together, we have accomplished so much to advocate for and
improve the lives of blind people throughout the East Valley.

I look forward with excitement and optimism to all the great things we will
achieve together in 2026.
