Dear East Valley Chapter,

First, I wanted to thank everyone so much for the work they did at the convention. 

Thank you to Ruth and Jim for bringing the Soundsystem and taking care of it during convention. We were able to use it at the senior meeting, as well as other events. They took a lot of time, and drove a lot of miles to make sure we had it there. Thank you again so much for that.

Thank you to those who volunteered wherever and whenever, I knew I could count on any one of you to help with whatever was needed. This in turn helped everyone.

Thank you to the Tarin’s for all of your help. You have such big hearts. Thank you for helping with the hospitality night. That was very nice, as well as brave of you to take that on. I know that everyone appreciated the work that you did to make that a success. Your enthusiasm really does motivate me. 

I would like to thank Patti Hamm. She is One of our newest members. She overcame some things. Brought a friend to help her, and she was able to participate and volunteer. Thank you again Patti. It was great to see you with us.

Thank you east valley students for being so fun and enthusiastic. You were so professional. I was so proud of you. Ammar did great with his speech. I love how you guys are always smiling and happy. That makes me happy.  Thank you so much for helping with carrying the boxes for the independence market and setting it up too. I was so grateful!

Thank you Marc for letting your students braille the labels for the independence market products. They did a really great job. With the little amount of time they had, they did a perfect job. That was very handy, helpful, easy, and accessible for everyone to enjoy getting to know what the independence market has to offer.

Thanks to Matt Mazak for taking pictures for convention memories. He takes the time to get everything he can. I think that is really neat. Thanks Matt.

I would also like to thank Debbie, and Darrell, our first and second vices. There are so many things I want to thank them for, the letter would get too long. I am so grateful to have you guys. Thank you for being at the convention. Thank you for your support end guidance. Thank you to the entire East Valley board as well.

Thank you Tony and Tina for your work on our Twitter page. Man, you guys are really rocking it! Thanks for promoting the chapter on social media. Thank you also for all your volunteering and hard work for the chapter.

Now, on to the raffle! We did so great! We are adding up the final numbers but after buying the robot vacuum, we made very close to $1000.

Thank you Justin Hughes! He was our top seller. Everyone did so well. You all put me and my café to shame. ☺️ We did very well, we should all be very proud of ourselves. That was a great fundraiser! Let’s do another one! ☺️

If you can tell me how many times I said thank you in this letter, you will get a surprise at the chapter meeting. ☺️ I know it was a little overkill but I really want to make sure you know how much you helped to make this convention, as well as our fundraiser and our chapter a part of something that the National Federation of the Blind Of Arizona is proud of.

We are having a meeting this Saturday. Announcement will be sent out shortly.
