Hello everyone,

I would like to put this out on the east valley list serve as well.

I spoke with Justin‘s stepmother today. Although the Facebook post looks very scary, I wanted to reassure people of some things.

Justin’s swallowing test did not go well. They wanted to put Justin on a feeding tube. Justin did not want to be hooked up to tubes anymore. His parents and him decided that they would like to take him home. In order to take him home, legally, they needed to put him on hospice care. 

Justin is resting now. He just had a half of a smoothie. His parents say he is doing well. He is talking and he’s able to communicate with them. His step mother said that she would let him know that we were thinking of him right after she got off the phone with me. This is very good news to hear.

Before things got out of hand, I just wanted to let you know of the good news. Obviously, he has a long way to go. Justin‘s family appreciates our prayers and thoughts so much. Please keep the prayers and thoughts going.

Please be rest assured that Justin is recovering. He just wanted to be at home.
