NFBA. East Valley Chapter Meeting notice January 20, 2024

Greetings East Valley Chapter members and friends,

We will be holding our East Valley in person chapter meeting this
Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 12:30pm to 3pm.

Special reminders:

if you wish to arrive early to socialize the meeting room door opens
at 12 pm. Matt may still have some candy for sale and the Student
Division may have some muffins for sale.

Remember this is our annual election meeting. It is important to
attend in person so that you can cast your vote. It is also important
that your 2024 dues are paid prior to elections. You will have an
opportunity to pay dues at the door.

Joe Sizemore will provide coffee at our meeting. He will have some
disposable cups available but if you have a personal mug with a lid
you are welcome to bring it with you. You are also welcome to donate
to the coffee fund but not necessary.

We will spend time during this meeting writing letters to our personal
representatives reflecting our focus at the Phoenix seminar. If you
have a writing device you are welcome to bring it to the meeting.
However, several of us will be available to assist members in writing
their personal letters and, if you know how to log into your email you
can send those letters using our devices. We will also assist members
in leaving voice mails for their representatives. Your patience during
this process is greatly appreciated.
We will also be discussing the start-up of our fund raising project.

You may also have an opportunity to win a simple door prize for coming
in person.

We are asking that if you are attending the East Valley Chapter
meeting in person, please make sure you’re feeling well. If you’re
feeling sick, even if you have a cold, it’s okay. Please stay home
until you feel better to keep people safe and healthy.

The East Valley Chapter meeting will be held at the Pyle Adult
Recreation Center located at:

655 East Southern Avenue in Tempe, 85282

The meeting room will open at approximately 12 PM. We will be meeting
in the Payson room.

If for any reason you are unable to attend our in person meeting, our
East Valley board has decided to still offer a virtual option to
attend this meeting. This will be for potential new members, people
that are interested in what the East Valley meeting is about, or for
members who are unable to attend but would still like a chance to
listen to our meeting.
