Hi Voters,

The City of Los Angeles, City Clerk, in collaboration with the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (EmpowerLA), is excited to announce the upcoming 2021 Neighborhood Council Board Member Elections taking place beginning March 2021 through June 2021, on a rolling regional basis. The City Clerk has implemented an all Vote-By-Mail voting model for all 2021 NC Elections and has made available an online portal for stakeholders to participate.

What Are Neighborhood Councils (NCs)?


NCs throughout the City of LA were created in 1999 so communities could have a stronger voice at City Hall. NC Board members are volunteers elected to office by those who live, work, own real property, or have an interest in the community.
