The purpose of this court date is an arraignment where the charges will be read to the defendant and the question of bail will be addressed. A date for a preliminary hearing will be set at this time. The only value of attending this court date would be to show solidarity on the part of the blind community as a whole letting the court and any possible media around that we are watching this case.
